Our courses our aimed at enthusiastic, flexible members of staff either new to the job or those with experience looking to progress within credit control.
We prefer to organise courses in house where we can review existing procedures and problems staff are experiencing to tailor a course specific to their needs. We also host courses in hotels where individual delegates can attend if their companies do not wish to employ us to carry out an in house course.
The workshop begins with outlining the Importance of the Credit Control function, addressing the risks of extending credit and how it impacts on the cash flow cycle. We will show how delayed payments impacts on the business. This gives the credit controller the mindset required to carry out their job.
The main focus of the course is on Telephone Collection Techniques. We aim to show the importance of contacting the customer for payment and how if handled effectively credit control calls are a great opportunity to remind the customer of the need to pay however handled badly calls can alienate customers and cause friction.
All delegates should finish with the increased confidence in implementing the best practices and immediately implement the new procedures they have learnt.
