We provide a unique Debt Collection Service, which enables us to collect any outstanding debts greater than £750 quickly and professionally at no cost to you or your company.
This is achieved by us charging your debtor compensation and interest, which is legitimately enforceable under the European Legislation. The cost of our service is therefore carried by the debtor and not by you.
Many companies use solicitors to collect their larger debts and are charged £30 + for a solicitors letter and then approx. £450 for the issue of a Civil Bill. The common complaints clients express against using their Solicitors for Debt Collection are:
- Solicitors costs are expensive.
- They are slow and frequently ineffective.
- They do not communicate regularly with clients as to the progress of their cases.
- They often avoid conflict and frequently talk clients out of enforcing judgments there by letting debtors off the hook.

Our Clients have a unique user ID and password, which enables them to review the progress of their Debt Collection cases on-line. Our service is as transparent as we can possibly make it, with the emphasis on customer care and the expedient collection of their Debts in a timely and cost effective manner.
Under our procedure we bring things to a head in 45 days. We will initially issue a 7 day letter from Debt Control Limited advising that the debt has been passed to us for collection and advising the debtor that Interest and Compensation is now accruing on the debt in addition to the principle sum. Telephone calls will then be made by our team of professional credit controllers to obtain payment promises and confirm the debt is not disputed.
If the debt remains outstanding we will then issue a 7 day letter through our solicitor at NO COST to you and follow this up with a 21 day Statutory Demand if the debtor has still not responded. The impact of this action is the debtor knows that if debt is not paid within 21 days then we will issue a Bankruptcy Petition (for a Sole Trader or Partnership) or a Winding Up Petition (for a Limited company) without further recourse to the debtor. This focuses the debtor's mind and brings you to the top of the food chain as your debt will be settled before those people who have registered judgments. This procedure is only to be used for undisputed debts. |
